Light on purpose
Light lager is a style built on restraint. We designed Light Horse Play to pour a very pale straw, finish crisp and dry, and keep malt and hop character quiet. The goal is a clean lager with enough character to feel crafted and enough ease to bring everyone to the table.
Care in every detail
A beer this clean leaves nowhere to hide. We built the recipe around a pale malt base and maize, kept the bitterness restrained, and chose a cold lager fermentation with time to condition. Each choice serves the same aim: a bright pour, a dry finish, and a beer that gets out of the way of a good afternoon.
